The short answer
A good FAQ answers the questions people already ask you, in their words, with the answer in the first sentence. That's what a customer wants, and it's what an assistant needs when it looks for something to quote.
Since 7 May 2026 Google no longer shows FAQ results, so the FAQPage code is optional. The visible questions and answers are the part that counts.
Questions
Does an FAQ section still help after Google dropped FAQ results?
The markup no longer changes how you look on Google, but the questions and answers themselves are still useful. A customer, or an assistant reading for them, gets a direct answer to the exact question they had. That's the part this builder puts first.
Where do I find the questions customers ask?
From your phone calls, WhatsApp chats, reviews and the questions shop staff hear every day. Those beat anything a keyword tool suggests, because they are your customers' own words.
How long should an answer be?
Start with one sentence that answers the question on its own, then add the detail. Most good answers land between 30 and 80 words. If one runs much longer, it may deserve its own page.
Should I add the FAQPage code?
It's optional. It does no harm when the same questions are visible on the page. Never add questions to the code that the page doesn't show.
