SEO and AI search for med spas and aesthetic clinics

Med spa clients research hard before booking: what a treatment involves, who does it, what it costs and what recovery looks like. Because treatments affect health, Google and AI assistants look closely at who is behind the information.

The practices that stand out name the licensed provider for each treatment, explain it honestly, and are careful with photos and reviews.

What clients ask before they book

These are the questions to answer on your own pages, in plain words, near the top. They're common examples; your calls, messages and reviews will add your own.

  • "Who performs the injections, and what's their license?"
  • "How much does Botox cost per unit here?"
  • "How long does a filler last?"
  • "What's the downtime after microneedling?"
  • "Do you offer a free consultation?"
  • "Is there a membership or package price?"

What your website needs

  1. 1

    One honest page per treatment

What it is, who it suits, who it doesn't, what it costs or what affects cost, how long results last and the recovery. Balanced pages earn more trust than hype.

  2. 2

    Named providers and their licenses

For each treatment, who performs it (MD, NP, PA, RN) and their credentials, plus the medical director where relevant.

  3. 3

    Prices or clear price ranges

Per unit, per area or per session. It's one of the first questions people ask, and one many sites dodge.

  4. 4

    Real before-and-after photos, with consent

Your own clients, unedited, with written consent. Never stock or AI-generated results.

  5. 5

Booking that works on a phone

Online booking or a tap-to-call number on every treatment page.

Rules to respect

  • The FTC bans fake reviews (including AI-written ones), undisclosed staff reviews and paying for positive reviews.
  • Results photos must be real and typical, or clearly say they aren't. Your state's medical board may have its own rules on advertising and who can perform which treatments.

Business details for your page code

Use MedicalClinic for medical treatments, or DaySpa if you mainly offer non-medical services. Keep name, address and phone identical to your Google profile. Replace everything in CAPITALS, keep every detail identical to what the page shows, then check it.

Common mistakes

  • "Best med spa in town" claims with nothing to back them up.
  • Treatment pages with no named provider.
  • AI-generated or stock before-and-after images.

Questions

Should treatment prices be on the site?

Yes, as exact prices or honest ranges. People ask AI assistants about cost first, and a page that answers gets quoted.

Do reviews on my site count?

Real reviews on your site and on Google both help people decide. They must be genuine and not filtered to show only the good ones.

How do I show expertise?

Provider bios with licenses, training and years of experience, linked from every treatment page they cover.
